College Registration Guide (Board Approved 2/13/2024)

The College Registration guide includes all of the information you need to register successfully for college classes. This guide will be approved annually to inform college registration guidelines for the following academic year. Please reference this document as you build your semester schedules.

First College Classes

If you are a first year student who has straight A's and would like to petition to take a college class in the spring, click on "First Year CR Course Bucket List" to view the classes that you can choose from. 

If you are a first year student who has A's and B's and would like to take a summer (by petition) or fall college class, click on "Second Year CR Course Bucket List" to view the classes that you can choose to take.

Petitioning

TRIO Talent Search

The goal of TRIO Educational Talent Search is to increase the number of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school, enroll in postsecondary educations, graduate, and find meaningful employment that pays a living wage. TRIO provides additional support and fun opportunities for students who qualify for these services. 

TRIO meets on alternating Mondays throughout the school year and a variety of topics are covered including SMART goal setting, college/career advising, and self care. Students are able to offer additional benefits such as tutoring. See your academic counselor to pick up an application or find out more information about TRIO.
