One of the most valuable resources of O*Net Online is the O*Net Interest profiler which analyzes your interests and relates them to various occupations. Local Programming

The YEOP program provides special services to youth between the ages of 15 and 25 to assist with the achievement of educational and vocational goals. YEOP provides referrals to supportive services, workshops, career coaching, and employment preparation.

HCOE Programming

  • TPP is an interagency vocational program funded by the California State Department of Rehabilitation in cooperation with HCOE and local high schools

  • Workability is a California State Department of Education program coordinated with HCOE for high school students who have Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Traditional Career and Technical Education internships (referral required)

  • CalJobs Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) internships for low-income students with barriers (foster or aged out, homeless, pregnant or parenting, school dropouts, students not attending school, legal offenders, or runaway) and/or IEP's.
